Daily Disciple- [week 1]

The beginning of a new year is a perfect time to get intentional about living for God daily as a "Daily Disciple". In this series I am challenging the kids to take on the challenge to follow in the "Big 12"'s footsteps and daily live as a disciple. This is the first week of the series I just introduced who the "Big 12" were and how Jesus would desire for all of us to follow him and take on the call of discipleship.

Giving & Thanks [Week 3]

When we put others needs before our own we are able to see just how fortunate we really are. This week we talked about putting others first in order to capture an attitude of giving and thanks.

No greater love than this than one who is able to lay down his life for his friends! Put others first!

When we are grateful for the things God has given us we are generous! This week we looked at the life of Boaz and how he was blessed because of his generous heart.

Giving & Thanks [Week 1]

During a time of year when it is so easy to sucked in to the Gimme Gimme's we took some time to remember all the blessings God has given us!

Be grateful! Everything we have is given from God alone so we will never run out of reasons to thank him for his many blessings!

Money Wise- Week 4 [Spend]

Once we have learned the basics of money, we must then move on to the fun part--- SPENDING!!!  When we are diligent in pleasing God even through the way we spend we will be blessed.

This was such a great series for our kids! Even after the series was over I was hanging out with one of our kids mom and we asked the girl to help us set up for a party we were having. I thanked her for helping out and working so hard to which she replied-- "if you don't work you don't eat!" Practical principles impacting kids at a young age! My fav!
